It was fascinating to talk to Georgia about the link between morris and Pendle Hill- Malkin and the Roughlee Ruffians are locally based and proud of it. I enjoyed our conversation and it helped me sort out my own ideas further.

The map is EXCELLENT. It was great fun trying out all the sounds- thank you. What an achievement.

We are recruiting…

wow, the fun and joy you can have with a Zoom H1 audio recorder, microphone and deadcat, a really insightful website, and archive. I’m glad there are people like you around to archive this stuff we all take for granted, but only complain about it once it has been lost forever.

A beautiful record of the sounds of Pendle Hill which remind us to stop, listen and breathe. I especially like the songs – including your arrangement of Old Pendle and the piece called “Wind Frequencies” which made me shiver – in a good way! Well done for bringing it together in this way.
